Contact Grandad

Authoring a website is a bit like talking from the stage in a darkened theatre. Is there anybody there beyond the footlights? If there is do they care what you're saying?

This website is very new although Grandad has been struttin' his stuff for many years. He is always pleased to get Emails commenting on subjects covered on this site or of interest to the older surfer

And don't forget the blog. Go there and comment on Grandad's postings but keep it clean! I get loads of comments but mostly spam.

The most popular part of this website seems to be the Railway Engineering section. I'm usually on the first page of Google for track maintenance queries

Would you believe that I have had several emails from companies in Bangladesh asking me to quote for track equipment?

Is it a wind-up I ask myself? If so by whom?

Could it be ..............? No, surely not; in any case I treat the Emails with courtesy as I do all my correspondents.

Quite recently I had an email from a student in USA asking my advice on a tamping problem. I hope I was able to help a little.... Grandad.
